The Sports Pavilion of Olhos de Água will host, from the 20th to the 24th of July, the National Free Skating Championship and the National Benjamins Tournament, which will take more than 200 athletes to Albufeira.
In these days, 71 clubs will compete for their place on the podium, of which 179 are part of the National Free Skating Championship and 39 the National Benjamins Tournament.
This event is organized by the Portuguese Skating Federation, with the collaboration of the Albufeira Skating Club and with the support of the Albufeira City Council and the Albufeira and Olhos de Água Parish Council.
The National Free Skating Championship has male and female athletes, in the categories of children, beginners, cadets, juveniles, juniors and seniors. In turn, the National Benjamins Tournament has dance competitions and free competitions.
Representing Albufeira will be young Mariana Faria, Luan Andrade, Jéssica Esteves, Futebol Clube de Ferreiras, Carolina Coelho and Leonor Fernandes.
On Sunday, there will be a Gala of Champions, in which the national champions, in the various levels, will perform, according to the organization, “a presentation scheme”.
