The first floor (fruit and handicraft sector) of Mercado da Avenida (Lagos) will be open from 7 am to 00 pm, until September 17th.
This is «a way of encouraging» the visit to this market, «at a time when many people are on vacation in the county».
To improve the experience, this market space will also have a musical program, with local artists, starting at 15:30 pm.
The artists that will be present in this initiative are Paulo Ribeiro (2, 8, 20 and 27 of August), DJ & Sax – DJ Manu and Paulo Ribeiro (27 of July, 4, 10, 18 and 24 of August), Humberto Silva ( 29th of July, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th of August) and Ana Marques (26th of August).
The most emblematic and oldest market in the municipality of Lagos «has recently been the subject of conservation work to improve its conditions for sellers and visitors, namely in its structure and safety».
Floor 0 of Mercado da Avenida (fish and butchery) will remain open at its normal hours (7:00-14:00).
