GNR seizes weapons in domestic violence case

The GNR seized this Tuesday, 12 July, weapons and ammunition and made a 31-year-old man accused, within the scope of a domestic violence case, in the municipality of Loulé. 

Following an investigation into domestic violence, the GNR found that the suspect "exerted physical and psychological violence against the victim, his 27-year-old partner, with whom he had a relationship for about four years."

This security force complied with a house search warrant and a vehicle search warrant, during which it seized a 12-gauge shotgun, a carbine, a pepper spray,
18 rounds, 15 “zagalote” rounds, nine 9 mm rounds and four 12-gauge rounds.

The suspect was made a defendant and the facts were reported to the Loulé Judicial Court.
