The 26th edition of the Book Fair of Tavira takes place from the 21st of July to the 3rd of August, between 20:00 and 00:30, and will promote the meeting with authors.
The fair is part of the summer program in Tavira and has around 35 exhibitors, where several publishing houses are represented.
Within the scope of the Encounter with Authors section, the event includes several launches, the presentation of new editions, as well as conversations with writers.
«This section aims to facilitate the public's involvement with the books and their authors and encourage reflection, critical analysis and the debate of ideas», emphasizes the Municipality of Portimão.
The meetings take place at the Álvaro de Campos Municipal Library, however, during the period of the Fair, the authors, after the presentation of the books, will be present in the pavilions of the event, between 21:30 and 22:00, for autograph sessions.
