Farense Gonçalo Cardoso becomes national vice-champion of Motocross

In the MX 85 class

The young pilot from Faro, 14 years old, Gonçalo Cardoso, became national vice-champion of Motocross, in the MX 85 class, last weekend. 

The last race took place at the Moçarria – Santarém circuit, where, despite the high temperatures and adverse conditions for the practice of this sport, the young man managed to place second in both heats, leading him to guarantee the title of national runner-up. .

Next season, Gonçalo Cardoso will go up in class, now moving to MX125.

This year, the pilot from Faro will also compete in the remaining events of the Centro Sul MX Ribatejo Regional Championship, where, at the moment, he is provisionally in first place in his class, after having won the 1 de Maio race at the Algarve Motocross track of Courtesy.

In August, Gonçalo Cardoso will also participate in a competition in France and, in October, he will represent the national team in the MX of the European Nations, in Talavera – Spain.
