The tribute show to Amália Rodrigues “Amar Amália” will bring together Aurea, Cuca Roseta, Luís Trigacheiro, Marco Rodrigues, Paulo de Carvalho and Sara Correia on the same stage, on the 30th of July, at 22:00, at the Sports Pavilion in Albufeira.
This concert was originally created in 2019, the year that marked the 20th anniversary of the death of Amália Rodrigues, and consists of a show that, according to its promoters, «honors the repertoire of the fado diva through the voice of great names in music».
Since the first session, in 2019, at the Altice Arena, in Lisbon, the show has been touring the country, but it has also gone beyond borders, namely to the Palais des Congrès, in Paris.
Simone de Oliveira, Aurea, Cuca Roseta, Paulo de Carvalho, Amor Electro, Sara Correia, Marco Rodrigues, Maria Emília were some of the artists who, over time, «made their contribution to this tribute and will continue, some of them, to be part of this project».
