The management of the Quinta do Lago Group decided to close golf courses, sports facilities and restaurants due to the fire that plagues this tourist development.
In a statement, the Quinta do Lago Group asks “the entire community” to keep “calm” and wait “for the authorities' instructions”.
The management of this resort says that "it is monitoring the situation closely".
Furthermore, other «more critical areas close to the fire's focus» have also been evacuated, namely homes in the Pinheiros Altos area.
There are even houses that are already surrounded by flames.
In addition to this, the shopping center Quinta Shopping was evacuated.
In fighting the flames, 314 are now operational, supported by 113 vehicles and two air assets.
