TPS Board of Directors

Teixeira, Pinto & Soares, SA (TPS), an engineering and construction company, will invest in its presence in the Algarve, with the aim of achieving an annual turnover of 100 million euros by 2025.

Currently, the greater Lisbon and Alentejo market represents for TPS, which has been operating for 25 years, close to 80% of annual turnover, and «of its human resources allocated to this market, 75% are based there or they are natural, which favors the company's ability to respond and mitigates the impact of logistics on operating costs».

However, the company adds, «the strategy adopted for Greater Lisbon will be replicated, in the short term, in the Algarve, a region in which TPS is especially attentive to the private construction market, which has a peculiar expression there».

According to TPS, in the short term, in addition to wanting to «build foundations in the Algarve», the company «intends to increase its presence in Greater Porto, Greater Lisbon and Alentejo».

The company has an order book of over 90 million euros, and the strategy outlined by the company aims to achieve an annual turnover of 100 million euros.

Since 2017, TPS has been part of the sphere of Latitude Capital SGPS, SA, created to aggregate its portfolio of companies in the field of engineering and civil construction or in neighboring areas. This holding, in addition to TPS, manages several shareholdings: Década, founded in 2015, Debates Cruzados, created in 2017, Terraço Sazonal, created in 2018, and Globaltérmica – Instalações Mecânicas, SA, formed in 2018.

The first three are real estate development companies. Globaltérmica, in turn, is a company of special technical installations, such as Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems (HVAC), smoke extraction systems, solar thermal and photovoltaic systems, hydraulic installations and Centralized Technical Management Systems (GTC) .
