APA presents Management Plan for Ribeiras do Algarve

PGRH are prepared by planning cycles, reviewed and updated every six years.

The Portuguese Environment Agency (APA) promotes, this Thursday, July 7, from 10 am, at the Municipal Library of Faro, a public session for the provisional presentation of the Hydrographic Region Management Plans (PGRH) of Ribeiras do Algarve. 

The Hydrographic Region Management Plans (PGRH) are water planning instruments recommended by the Water Framework Directive (DQA), transposed by the Water Law, which aim at the management, protection and environmental, social and economic valorization of waters at the watershed level.

The PGRH are prepared by planning cycles, reviewed and updated every six years.

The provisional version of PGRH8 is currently available and until October 31st, in the public participation phase.
