Music, fitness, footvolley, beach athletics and much more. Albufeira will celebrate, on August 5th, the International Youth Day.
The event will take place at Praia and Praça dos Pescadores, from 10:00 to 24:00.
The program includes fitness classes and workshops, with plenty of music and dance to accompany. The program starts at 10:00 am, with athletics activities on the beach. At 11:00 am and 17:00 pm, young people and visitors to the county will have the opportunity to participate in two fitness classes. After lunch, at 16:00, there is beach tennis, beach volleyball and footvolley, promoting physical activity, health and well-being, as well as team spirit.
The highlight of this day is the “Albufeira Sound Sunset”, with six hours of music, entertainment and dancing with Djsets by Dj China feat David Simões, Dj Henrique Ponte and, at the end, Alex Morais.
The party will be accompanied by snacks and traditional delicacies.
This is «an event that we are very pleased to organize», says José Carlos Rolo, mayor of Albufeira.
