The Territorial Command of the GNR of Faro between 10 and 12 June, five people were arrested for drug trafficking, one for possession of a prohibited weapon, seized a vehicle, 78.750 doses of hashish and 269 doses of cocaine.
The operations took place within the scope of the activity developed in the fight against crime and prevention of criminal offenses.
Focused on the flow of people that occurred this past weekend, the GNR reinforced its patrolling on the main roads, nightlife areas and bathing areas.
«The Territorial Command of Faro, remains focused on the security of the region, on maintaining tranquility and public security, directing the effort to combat any possible criminal phenomenon», the GNR said in a statement.
