The collision between a heavy goods vehicle and a light one caused, this Wednesday, four injuries, two of them children, told the Sul Informação the Algarve Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command.
A 58-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were seriously injured. The two children, aged 9 and 6, suffered minor injuries.
The alert for the accident, which took place in Almancil, on the EN125, towards Albufeira-Faro, was given at 13:15 pm this Wednesday, June 22nd.
At 14:30 pm, the occupants of the vehicles had already gone to the Hospital de Faro, revealed the Civil Protection.
According to the GNR, traffic is conditioned in the direction Albufeira-Faro and there is a slowdown along the site.
