Applications to participate in the 1st stage of a youth orchestra, an initiative of the CODA Project, which will take place from the 1st to the 4th of September, at Cineteatro Louletano, will end on the 1st of July.
O CODA Project – Orquestra do Algarve: annual meetings of specialized artistic teaching of music in the Algarve region, was born from a challenge launched to the Music Conservatory of Loulé – Francisco Rosado by Alexandre Lima, Regional Delegate for Education in the Algarve.
The project aims to «stimulate, enhance and develop a taste for music», «unite, create bonds and stimulate exchanges between students» and «motivate and develop the technical-artistic skills of students who attend the specialized artistic education of music in Algarve region», emphasizes the Loulé Conservatory in a statement.
The initiative is therefore open to all schools of specialized artistic music education, it is free to participate and aims “not only to enhance this offer of the Portuguese education system, but also, and above all, to benefit the training of young people from the Algarve and the region".
