For João Duarte, executive director of YoungNetwork Group and publisher of the EuroRegião, in this cycle of conferences «it was possible to share a lot of knowledge, through this new study that demonstrates the importance of cohesion policy for the Portuguese regions, which not only converged in recent years vis-à-vis the European average, but also within the country where the less developed areas converged with the more developed ones, proving that without the structural and investment funds this movement would not have taken place».

The EuroRegião Talks Algarve agenda includes the presentations “EuroRegião, we speak the European language”, the “Nova SBE University Study: European Funds – Impact Assessment in Different Regions in Portugal”, by Sofia Terlica and the “Case Study, Novavet-Bemed ”, by Luís Afonso.
