A 21-year-old man was arrested for robberies on the public road in Albufeira during the early hours of Tuesday, June 14th.
The GNR Territorial Detachment of Albufeira, in coordination with the Criminal Investigation Nucleus, also constituted two female and one male defendants, aged between 16 and 20.
The arrest followed a report that two robberies had already taken place on the public road at 4:30 am.
“The military went to the scene and collected information on the characteristics of the perpetrators, through the victims. It was possible to ascertain that the suspects used violence against the victims, while stealing objects such as suitcases and cell phones, and were located immediately afterwards, taking into account the characteristics described”, says the GNR in a statement sent to the newsrooms.
Once the suspects were located, the Guard seized and recovered ten cell phones, a wallet, an ATM card and 35 euros.
«The recovered material was delivered to the legitimate owners», emphasizes the GNR, adding that the facts were reported to the Albufeira Judicial Court.
