Altura once again celebrates the traditional Festivities in Honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, between the 1st and 3rd of July, which this year will feature religious celebrations, concerts by HMB, Rui Bandeira and Feira de Artesanato.
The festivities begin on Friday, at 19:00 pm, with the Feira de Artesanato de Altura, “a genuine exhibition of local arts and crafts, with a huge variety of regional sweets”, says the Municipality of Castro Marim in a statement.
At 19:30 pm, there is a dance with Ângelo Correia, followed by the ethnographic parade by the “Associação Cultural Amendoeiras em Flor” and, at 22:XNUMX pm, a concert with the singer, musician and composer Rui Bandeira and band.
Saturday is the day for the HMB to perform, at 22 pm.
Sunday will be marked by religious celebrations, with homage to the patron saint of Altura, Imaculado Coração de Maria, who is welcomed in procession at 19:00, with streets and windows decorated by the people. The dance with Duo Reflexo and the dance show by ARUTLA will close the festivities in honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The Parties in Honor of the Immaculate Heart of Mary are a joint organization of the Municipality of Castro Marim and the Parish of Altura, with the support of the Parish Council of Altura, Clube Recreativo Alturense and Irmandade do Imaculado Coração de Maria.
