Two French men, who had this Monday, June 6, a personal watercraft accident near the beach of Vilamoura, suffered «several injuries and fractures in the body».
The alert was received at 17:20.
Elements of the local Command of the Maritime Police of Faro, as well as members of the Portuguese Red Cross and INEM.
According to the National Maritime Authority, the victims were able to “move by their own means to the Vilamoura marina, with the support of a water scooter that was nearby, having been promptly assisted by elements of the Portuguese Red Cross and INEM. ».
One of the men had head injuries and the other had multiple body injuries, as well as fractures to his left limbs.
Both victims were transported to the hospital.
