Chef Luís Brito takes flavors from Tavira to cultural and gastronomic festival in Croatia

This Tuesday, the Michelin-starred chef will star in a showcooking

O star chef Luís Brito presents emblematic proposals of Portuguese cuisine at the IMENA festival, which takes place from the 19th to the 21st of June in Bol, Croatia, on behalf of Tavira, a municipality that is a special guest of the event.

In this, which is the 13th edition of IMENA, a festival held at the beginning of summer in Bol, and which this year honors the Algarve municipality of Tavira and Mediterranean food, the chef of the restaurant «A Ver Tavira» will be the Portuguese representative.

Presenting the public with a showcooking, tomorrow, June 21, at 21 pm, Luís Brito's choice fell on two emblematic dishes of Portuguese cuisine, made with the best of our coast: Cataplana Algarvia and Polvo à Lagareiro.

The chef's cuisine is recognized for being respectful of local ingredients and the traditional roots of national cuisine. In this way, Luís Brito insists on presenting, in his proposals for fine dining, the best selection of ingredients, allowing the public a memorable experience.

The event also has a varied cultural program, which includes debates and presentations, ranging from painting to classical music and jazz, passing through literature, providing the public with unique experiences in terms of the senses.
