Albufeira City Council is organizing two programs with great animation for the young people of the county to spend their holidays.
The “Children in Action” program is aimed at teenagers from 10 to 12 years old and will run from July 4th to August 26th (registration is possible on June 20th and 21st during working hours, from 9 am to 00 pm, here).
In the same period, the “Youth in Action” program is also running, for young people from 13 to 18 years old (whose registrations can be made this Tuesday, 14, and tomorrow, 15, here).
This program runs for a fortnight, but there will be four fortnights so that everyone can enjoy the programmed activities: taking place between the 4th of July and the 26th of August, divided between the 4th and 15th of July, from the 18th to the 29th of July, from 1st to 12th of August and from 16th to 26th of August.
When registering, a fortnight preference will be requested. Seats are limited to 44 participants, who will be divided into two groups. The Municipality of Albufeira emphasizes that «each young person can only participate for a fortnight and there can be no change of group».
On the 22nd of June, the selected participants will be contacted so that they can go to the Youth Office (next to the Caliços Market) to formalize their registration.
The selected participants will have to share the costs of the program with the total amount of 60,60 euros, which includes
activities at Aquashow (25,60 euros/participant) and Jeep Safari (35 euros/participant). The remaining activities will be funded by the Municipality of Albufeira, as well as the transport, insurance, monitoring and materials necessary to carry out these same activities.
The “Infantis em Ação” program, aimed at teenagers from 10 to 12 years old, will take place between the 4th of July and the 26th of August, also covering four fortnights: from the 4th to the 15th of July, from the 18th to the 29th of July, from August 1st to 12th and August 16th to 26th.
In this program, seats per fortnight are limited to 22 participants. The selection of participants will also be in order of registration and on the 25th of June the selected participants will be contacted.
Participants selected for the project must contribute to the costs of the program with a total value of 48,50 euros, which includes the following activities: Zoo de Lagos (7 euros/participant), two bowling matches (10 euros/participant), Zoomarine (6 euros/participant) and Padel with lunch (25,50 euros).
The remaining activities will also be provided by the Municipality of Albufeira.
