Initiative runs over seven months

Lagoa Wine Experiences starts this Saturday, May 28, to make known, over seven months, the wines of the county and the wine tourism offer. 

This is now the third edition and includes visits by the following participants: Arvad, Dona Niza Wines, Dos Santos, Monte dos Salicos, Morgado do Quintão, Quinta da Palmeirinha, Quinta dos Capinhas, Quinta dos Vales, and Única.

The 1st Session of Lagoa Wine Experiences begins with a visit to Quinta dos Vale, followed by a lunch served at the ÚNICA- Adega Cooperativa do Algarve. The afternoon will be at Morgado do Quintão.

The seven sessions will take place on May 28th, June 25th, July 9th, August 6th, September 10th, October 15th and November 12th, are limited to a maximum of 40 participants and have a cost of 45 euros.

The event is aimed at people over 18 years of age and tickets can be purchased on ticketline or at Centro Cultural Convento de S. José, Auditorio Carlos do Carmo and Balcão Único of the Municipality of Lagoa.

The sessions take place from 10:00 am to 18:00 pm and transport will be carried out in different ways, depending on the session (Tuk tuks, boat, panoramic bus; Lagoa City Council bus, electric bikes, tourist train, electric vehicles or in a transfer van).

According to the Municipality of Lagoa, Lagoa Wine Experiences «aims to promote the quality wines produced in the municipality to hotels, local restaurants and the general population, in a show that aims to make known wines of excellence. that we have in the municipality and to raise awareness of the importance of promoting the consumption of local products among tourists, Portuguese and foreigners, who choose Lagoa as their holiday destination».
