After all, the Silves Vaccination Center will continue to operate in Fissul and will not move to the city's Health Center, announced the City Council.
Despite having decided, last week, that the vaccine against Covid-19 would be given at the Health Center, due to the low turnout, the Municipality of Silves came to the public yesterday, the 13th, to warn of the reversal of the decision, «following the communication sent today by the DGS».
At stake is the fact that “the phase of reinforcement of vaccination against Covid-19 for the age group over 80 years will start next Monday, May 16th. Given this schedule, and the fact that the Silves Health Center does not have the capacity to respond to the increase in the number of people attending its services, vaccination will continue to be administered at FISSUL.
The opening hours of the FISSUL Vaccination Center will remain as currently practiced: Mondays, from 15:00 pm to 18:00 pm, and Saturdays, from 9:00 am to 13:00 pm.
