Rui Capela is the new coach of Esperança de Lagos, replacing Roberto Alberto, announced this Sunday, May 29, the Algarve club.
This is Rui Capela's return to Esperança de Lagos, after, in the 2007/2008, 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 seasons, having been the club's technical coordinator and player in the 1992/1993 and 1993/1994 seasons.
In a statement, the Lacobrigense club thanks the work of Roberto Alberto.
“An exceptional human being and a very competent professional. He was one of the main contributors to the qualitative evolution of senior football in recent seasons, rising to the national championships and keeping the team there until today », it reads.
