The “Brincar Seguro Correndo Riscos” initiative returns to Paderne to encourage children to play outdoors, as they used to do, on May 28, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, in the João Campos car park.

The objective of the initiative is to get the little ones to play in green and urban spaces, bringing parents and children together.

During the morning, participants can enjoy activities such as a rolling cart race, bottle races, playing top, marble and rubber band, scavenger hunts, sack race, «among other challenges that will set everyone in motion», according to the Chamber of Albufeira.

«The “Brincar Seguro Correndo Riscos” is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate to the little ones that they do not need to have specific spaces or infrastructures to play, not even expensive toys», adds the municipality.

«The purpose of this initiative is to encourage young people to appreciate more the green spaces and public spaces that we provide in Albufeira», says José Carlos Rolo, mayor.

The mayor also states that this is an action that also promotes coexistence between all those present, between parents and children.

Participants can bring bicycles, tricycles, scooters and protections such as helmets.

Admission is free, subject to prior registration via email: [email protected] or by contacting 289 598 829.

For more information, you can consult the website of the municipality.
