The works on the EN120, in Aljezur, which will take place from this Tuesday, the 31st of May, until the 3rd of June, consist of the «complete rehabilitation of the pavement of a 1000-meter stretch that develops in the urban area and includes the bridge» of that village, announced Infraestruturas de Portugal, responsible for the works.

«In order to guarantee the proper execution of the work, and given the reduced width of the road platform available at this location, it is necessary to implement traffic restrictions with occasional interruptions of circulation», adds IP.

However, he guarantees, “only essential interruptions will be made to carry out the work in good technical and operational conditions, seeking to ensure that these coincide, as much as possible, with periods of lower traffic volume”.

For this reason, Infraestruturas de Portugal would like to thank you for «the best understanding of the possible inconveniences that the conditioning may cause, namely the longer delay in the journey time», but underlines that «the implementation of this intervention will guarantee better conditions of comfort and safety for motorists. who travel daily along the EN120 on their journeys».
