The solidarity initiative of MAR Shopping Algarve, “Prevent it Like a Gentleman”, runs until the 29th of May and allows free screening for the early diagnosis of prostate cancer at the HPA Clinic in the shopping centre.
To carry out the screening, which is free, just make an appointment in advance by contacting 302063457 or emailing [email protected], indicating the MAR Shopping Algarve campaign.
«Over the four previous editions, more than 1000 screenings have already been carried out, allowing the detection and treatment of early stage cases», says MAR Shopping Algarve in a statement, stressing that the objective is to «reinforce the importance of cancer prevention prostate and men's mental health'.
The initiative also includes two exhibitions – one for motorcycles and the other for art – which will be on display throughout the month at MAR Shopping Algarve.
From the 14th to the 29th of May it will be possible to visit the Triumph “120 years of History” exhibition, with some of the most emblematic motorcycles from the 'modern classic' range of the English brand. The “Re-cycle” exhibition by João Jesus, an artist partner for 30 years at Moto Clube de Faro, will also be present.
