Two women, aged 47 and 75, died this Sunday morning, on the EN125, in Quatro Estradas, in the municipality of Loulé, after being hit by a car.
Source of the Algarve Regional Command for Civil Protection told the Sul Informação that the alert was given at 7:37 am and that, when the rescue teams arrived at the scene, they found the two women already dead.
According to the same source, the driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
In the rescue operations, 14 operatives were involved, supported by six vehicles, from the fire department, INEM and GNR.
