Registration for the Portimão Photographic Race ends tomorrow

This year, the face-to-face modality returns, taking participants to discover the corners of the municipality of Portimão

Registration for the 22nd Portimão Photographic Race, which takes place on the 14th of May, is only open until tomorrow, the 10th of May.

The return of the face-to-face modality is the great novelty of this edition, along with the maintenance of the online modality, introduced two years ago due to the pandemic.

Considered the most important competition of its kind in the south of the country, the now traditional initiative of the Museum of Portimão aims to promote a current and creative view of photography enthusiasts and friends, through the various proposed themes.

In this edition, photography lovers have the possibility to participate in the face-to-face mode, which will take place between 9:00 am and 21:00 pm on May 14, as well as in the special online mode, with photos sent until June 25, always respecting the four themes. proposed.

The online modality will have Life as its motto, divided into the following themes: “The uncertainty of life”; “Endurance, resilience and survival”; “A fragile heritage”; and “Is this what makes me happy?”.

As for the face-to-face modality, the real Photographic Race, during which participants will have to travel around the municipality of Portimão in search of the best photos, the topics will only be announced on the same day, the dropper, along the route.

The Portimão Museum, responsible for organizing the competition, is already accepting applications for both modalities, whichwhich can be done here, with the possibility for interested parties to register in both modalities, or only in one, with the respective regulation available here.

The 22nd Portimão Photographic Race is part of the commemorations of the 14th anniversary of the Portimão Museum, inaugurated on the 17th of May 2008, and has as its media partner the Sul Informação, in addition to the support of the following entities: Ocean Revival, CLCC, ETIC Algarve, Restinga and Grupo de Amigos do Museu de Portimão.
