A 49-year-old man, who «exerted verbal, physical and psychological violence» against his wife and two daughters, in Albufeira, was arrested by the GNR for domestic violence.
Following a domestic violence case, the Guard's military found that the suspect was exercising verbal, physical and psychological violence against the victims, his 49-year-old wife and their 21- and 15-year-old daughters.
“During the police investigations, it was possible to determine that the aggressor had been repeatedly violent towards the victims for about four years”, his wife, 49, and their daughters, aged 15 and 21.
In fact, says the GNR in a statement, “when approaching the suspect, the Guard soldiers witnessed injuries and physical violence against one of the victims, which led to his immediate arrest”.
The detainee was made an accused, and the facts were referred to the Albufeira Judicial Court.
