The book “Undertaking without excuses”, by Ana Cristina Rosa, will be presented on the 28th of May, at 18:00, at the Manuel Teixeira Gomes Municipal Library, in Portimão.
Ana Cristina Rosa, born in Portimão, graduated in Social Communication and started her career in Algarve regional journalism. The interest in entrepreneurship led her to create her company in 2011, in which she has guided hundreds of people to transform dreams into successful businesses, becoming a reference in Portugal when it comes to creating digital businesses.
In 2019, she created the first certification in Online Instruction in Portugal and, since then, she has contributed to a new generation of entrepreneurs who use digital technology to create businesses without borders, being a guest speaker at international lectures on digital entrepreneurship.
The book “Undertaking without excuses” is, in her words, “an invitation to these two sides of entrepreneurship and a first-person account of an entrepreneur who lived this sea of roses with thorns that is entrepreneurship”.
According to the author, «creating a business is constantly stepping out of our comfort zone. It's about challenging ourselves. It's believing when no one else believes. It is to disbelieve in secret. It's thinking about giving up a thousand times. But it's also waking up in the morning in love with what we do. Don't let the hours go by. To feel that we make each day worthwhile. To feel that at the end of the line we leave a legacy».
