Louletano went down to the District Football Championship, after losing this Sunday, by 2-1, against Immortal de Albufeira in the L series of the maintenance phase of the Portuguese Championship. For 38 years, the Loulé team played in national competitions.

Hired for the last two rounds, Bruno Saraiva made his debut on the Louletano bench in the worst way.

The first goal even came for Louletano, through Bamba, in the 11th minute.

But, in the second half, Immortal turned the score around with goals from Sandro Cabral (71′) and Ailton (79′).

This was a surprising outcome for Louletano who, in the regular phase of the Portuguese Championship, fought until the end for a place in the climbing phase.

Relegated to the maintenance phase, the team from Loulé was adding bad results that culminated in this relegation of division, consummated when there is still a match to be played.

On the other hand, Esperança de Lagos and Imortal, who also competed in the same phase, have already managed to maintain themselves in the Portuguese Championship.

Already in the promotion phase to Liga 3, Moncarapachense received and drew 3-0 with Fontainhas. Olhanense, in turn, visited Estádio do Restelo, where they lost XNUMX-XNUMX against Belenenses.

The classification is led by the team from Belém, followed by Fontainhas (11) and Moncarapachense (9).
