Tech Hub Summit ends with Cabrita Reis and Beau McCellan

The last of the Culture and Tech Talks, promoted by the Chamber of Faro, takes place from 18:00

The last day of the Algarve Tech Hub Summit this Saturday, April 2nd, will be used to meet the winners of the “Disrupt'22” startup competition and to hear from Pedro Cabrita Reis, Beau McCellan and Christophe and Angelique de Oliveira. 

At “Disrupt'22”, during the morning, at the Campus da Penha, of the University of Algarve, the participants in the competition will present the pitch of your projects. In the afternoon, the three winners are announced, who will receive a total of 20 thousand euros, including monetary prizes and vouchers for technological products and services.

After opening the work “Três Garças”, at the Louvre Museum in Paris, Pedro Cabrita Reis makes a short stop in the Algarve before heading to the Venice Biennale.

The artist joins Beau McCellan, a designer known for his light installations worldwide and who has four Red Dot Design Awards, owner of the Bybeau Creative Studio, in Loulé, and entrepreneurs Christophe and Angelique de Oliveira, owners of the unit. of local accommodation The Modernist, in Faro, to talk about the Algarve that inspires them, where they settled and where they work.

the last of Culture and Tech Talks, promoted by the Chamber of Faro, takes place from 18:00, in the Siga room, of the Associação Recreativa e Cultural de Músicos, and closes the schedule of the first edition of ATHS.
