São Brás de Alportel launches today, April 6, at 18:30 pm, a cycle of clarification sessions on the revision of the Municipal Master Plan (PDM) open to the entire community, taking place on Wednesdays, in the Main Hall of the City Council .
In these meetings, the municipality «invites the community to share their proposals, ideas and suggestions, their visions of the future, in a planning exercise that is intended to be participatory».
This afternoon's session will be dedicated to the theme “People > the challenge of equipment” and will focus on “education, solidarity, civil protection, culture and sport”, according to the São Brás de Alportel Chamber.
“The environment > the challenge of sustainability and mobility” is the topic under consideration on the 13th and “will address the environment, forests and spatial planning”.
On the 20th, the São Brasense community is invited to reflect on the theme: “The economy > the challenge of employment and the attractiveness of investment”.
The cycle ends on 27 April with the theme “Housing > the challenge of urbanism and spatial planning”.
«The PDM is the most comprehensive and important instrument for territorial planning and management. Its review is a challenging and demanding exercise, in the search for a balance between the municipality's ambition for the growth of the local economy, the development of the territory and the quality of life of the populations and the need to respond to legal imperatives and constraints. of regional and national planning plans", concluded the municipality.
