Algarve Operational Program has an execution rate of 61%

until end of March

The implementation rate of the CRESC Algarve 2020 Operational Program was 61% at the end of March, one percentage point higher than that recorded on the last day of February, according to the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission. 

The commitment rate remains at 109%.

Until 31 March, «1587 projects had been approved in the PO Algarve, with an eligible investment of 615 million euros, which corresponded to community funding of 348 million euros and an execution of 305 million euros. The payments made amount to 203 million euros'.

 

 

The Algarve CCDR also reveals that it is axis 2 (Supporting Internationalization, Business Competitiveness and Qualified Entrepreneurship), with «596 approved projects, 355 million euros of total cost and 95 million euros of fund» that stands out the most. .

«From the implementation of the Incentive Systems (SI), we highlight the SI Qualification and Internationalization of SMEs typology, with 457 projects approved and 20,9 million euros in funding», he adds.

«In the territorial instruments, the Action Plans for Urban Regeneration (PARU) are highlighted, which have a commitment rate of 98,5% and an execution rate of 62,7%».
