The Directorate-General for Health (DGS) ruled out, this Wednesday, that the end of the use of masks in closed places, such as schools, hospitals and nursing homes, is soon. And he asked citizens for care during Easter, ensuring that the pandemic has not yet reached safe levels.
“The pandemic has not ended globally. It remains in Portugal. All the protection that we can build will be a good protection for the future”, stressed the Director-General of Health, Graça Freitas, at a press conference, this Wednesday, in which I appeal “to the mobilization of citizens” around the maintenance of protective measures during Easter.
