Luís Graça chairs the Parliamentary Committee on Culture, Communication, Youth and Sports

The five socialist deputies elected by the Algarve were distributed among several parliamentary committees

Luís Graça took office this Wednesday, April 13, as president of the 12th Parliamentary Committee on Culture, Communication, Youth and Sports in a session that was attended by Adão Silva, vice-president of the Assembly of the Republic.

This morning, the Assembly of the Republic concluded its installation with the appointment of presidents for the 14 permanent parliamentary committees and the distribution of the 230 elected deputies.

The five socialist deputies elected by the Algarve were distributed among several parliamentary committees.

Jamila Madeira was elected vice-president of the PS Parliamentary Group, being responsible for Budget and Finance and European Affairs; Jorge Botelho is a member of the Economy, Public Works, Planning and Housing Committee, as well as the Health Committee and the Labor, Social Security and Inclusion Committee;

Luís Graça, in addition to being chairman of the 12th Committee on Culture, Communication, Youth and Sport, is also a member of the Committee on Agriculture and Fisheries and the Committee on Environment and Energy.

As for Francisco Oliveira, he is the coordinator of the deputies of the PS Parliamentary Group in the Transparency Committee, also integrating the 1st Committee on Constitutional Affairs, Rights, Freedoms and Guarantees;

Finally, Isabel Guerreiro is vice-coordinator of the Socialist Party for the Committee on Public Administration, Spatial Planning and Local Power and is also a member of the Education and Science Committee.
