Feira do Campo again explores secrets of the Algarve mountains in Furnazinhas

The event featured the presentation of local products and artisans.

Feira do Campo returned last Sunday, April 24, to explore the secrets of the Algarve mountains in Furnazinhas (Castro Marim).

At the beginning of the day, the participants walked the streets on a tour of the village's shale houses, not forgetting the old copper mines and the landscapes over the Odeleite dam.

The initiative featured artisans working live and a variety of local products, such as demonstrations of the confection of “homemade bread” and cheese and an exhibition of farm animals, to make known the experiences of the Algarve mountains.

This event was animated by Jaime Gomes and Palhaço Zequinha and ended with the performance of the Folkloric and Ethnographic Group of Friends of Montenegro.

Feira do Campo was an initiative of the Parish Council of Odeleite, the Social Association of the Parish of Odeleite, the Municipality of Castro Marim, the Furnazinhas Hunters Club and the local population.
