A pedestrian walk, crafts, sweets and a bread and cheese workshop. The Feira do Campo takes place this Sunday, April 24, in Furnazinhas (Castro Marim).

After the interruption of the last two years due to the pandemic, the Parish Council of Odeleite brings back this event that has a pedestrian walk, for those who want to explore the charms of Furnazinhas.

Registration is now open, via the e-mail address [email protected] or the number 281 495 148. The cobbled streets, the schist houses, the old copper mines and the landscapes over the Odeleite dam are some of the scenarios of this initiative.

During the afternoon, through the streets of this village, you can find artisans working live and a wide variety of local products, such as honey and nuts and the well-known traditional sweets. There will also be space to get to know the experiences of the Algarve mountains, with a demonstration of the confection of “homemade bread” and cheese and an exhibition of farm animals.

The musical entertainment, starting at 13 pm, will be with Jaime Gomes, the Folkloric and Ethnographic Group of Amigos do Montenegro and Palhaço Zequinha.
