During these five days of fair, visitors will be able to find, in the approximately 1000 square meters of the enclosure, an area of small taverns where they can taste cheeses, sausages, bread, sweets and regional wines.

Another area of this fair is occupied essentially by producers from almost all over the country, highlighting the famous cheeses from Nisa, Moura, Serra da Estrela, Serra da Gardunha, Borba and Aldeias de Montoito and, of course, , a wide range of wines from regions such as the Algarve, Alentejo, Bairrada, Beira Interior, Dão and Douro.

This event, in this edition, has a significant reinforcement in the area of traditional sausages, with emphasis on products originating in Baixo Alentejo and the Serras de Monchique, Estrela and Gardunha.

This year, «the tavern area is reinforced and will be open to the public right at lunchtime, extending its operation uninterrupted throughout the afternoon and until it closes at 23:00», says the União de Freguesias de Faro.

“Wine connoisseurs will be able to purchase the glass alluding to the event and visit the stands to taste the different types of wines or take advantage of fair promotions and buy, in addition to bottles, wine by the glass of their favorite brands”, he adds.

In all, there will be about three dozen stands that will promote and disseminate the best that is done in the wine, sausage and cheese sector in different regions of Portugal.
