This Thursday, April 28th, nurses will create a mural with their demands, at Hospital de Faro.
This will be the fourth “Thursday of Indignation”, a set of protest initiatives that the Portuguese Nurses Union (SEP) has carried out.
«Algarve nurses no longer have adjectives to describe the total indifference and disrespect on the part of the Algarve Regional Health Administration and Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve, which continue without scheduling a meeting to solve their problems», says the SEP.
«The situation is even more serious when, in the same month in which another EPE institution decided to advance nurses, CHUA cuts 200 euros in the salary of nurses with Individual Employment Contracts at Hospital de Lagos», he adds.
For the 5th of May, a strike is also scheduled.
