A 34-year-old man suspected of robberies and thefts in Vilamoura was arrested this Monday, April 11, in Faro. 

According to the GNR, the arrest was the culmination of “an investigation into theft that had been going on for about five months”.

This man is suspected of "four robberies using public stretches, two robberies at home, a domestic violation, driving without a legal license and extortion".

The detainee will appear today, 12 April, at the Judicial Court of Faro, for the application of coercive measures.
