CHUA joins Algarve Tech Hub

Ceremony takes place this Tuesday, April 19

The Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve signs this Tuesday, April 19, the Memorandum of Understanding for the Algarve Tech Hub. The ceremony is scheduled for 16:00 pm in the Rectory's Seminar Room, on the Gambelas Campus of the University of Algarve.

The memorandum is part of the Algarve Tech Hub Collaborative Strategy 2020-2030, «an action plan designed to be an engine of transformation capable of positioning the Algarve at the forefront as a recognized and competitive digital region on a global scale, aiming to create the conditions context for the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of that strategy, in a perspective of collaborative, open and balanced innovation, among the agents interested in the development of the regional technological ecosystem».

According to CHUA, through this document, the signatories commit to join efforts to promote the development of the technological sector in the Algarve.

Algarve Tech Hub is a brand created by the University of Algarve and licensed to Algarve STP, chaired by Francisco Serra, also director of the new Teaching, Innovation and Research Department at CHUA – Centro Hospitalar e Universitário do Algarve, and to Algarve Evolution.
