Portimão Municipal Assembly debates contests for animal handlers, gravediggers and lifeguards

Session scheduled for April 29, at 21:00 pm, in the Portimão Museum Auditorium

The Municipal Assembly (AM) of Portimão will meet for the 2nd Ordinary Session of 2022, on April 29, at 21:00 pm, in the Auditorium of the city's Municipal Museum.

According to the notice of this session of the Portimonense AM, which can be found here, after the citizens' intervention periods and before the agenda, there will be an appreciation of the written information presented by the mayor of Portimão.

Next, on the Agenda, is the appreciation and voting of the individual accounting documents relating to the 2021 financial year and the proposal for the application of results, as well as the Inventory Appraisal of the assets recorded in the accounts in the 2021 financial year. .

The work continues with the discussion and voting of the Proposal for Opening a Public Procurement Procedure for the occupation of three jobs under an employment contract for an indefinite period for the career and category of operational assistant (area of ​​functional activity of animal handler and functional activity area for gravediggers), as well as many other jobs in the functional activity area for rescuers).

The notice adds that, “in exceptional situations, duly substantiated, the Municipal Assembly may authorize the opening of the public tender procedures referred to in the previous number, establishing on a case-by-case basis the maximum number of workers to be recruited, provided that it is cumulative”.

The session will continue with the discussion and vote on the Proposal for the composition of the recruitment jury for the position of Head of Division for Transport and Workshops.

The last item on the Agenda has to do with the discussion and voting of Eng. Agostinho Jorge Baptista Escudeiro in the position of president of the jury of the tender procedures for filling 3 positions of Heads of Division - 2nd degree intermediate management positions, by Dr. Ricardo José da Conceição Tomé, Director of the Department of Urban Management and Mobility, with the remaining members of each of the previously appointed juries remaining.
