Albufeira develops social innovation through the RECRIA Summit

on the 3rd of May

The RECRIA Summit brings together institutions from all over the country to talk about social innovation, on the 3rd of May, at the Albufeira Municipal Auditorium.

The event is promoted and developed by the RECRIA project – Centros Reabilitativos e Inovadores do Algarve, a project of APEXA – Association for the Support of the Exceptional Person of the Algarve with the social investment of the Municipality of Albufeira, within the scope of the Partnerships for the Impact of Portugal Social Innovation , Co-financed by Portugal 2020 – CRESC Algarve through the European Social Fund.

The event will start at 14:00 with a welcome and will be divided into two parts composed by speakers from all over the country, who come to share knowledge in the social area. Innovation and social impact, marketing and sustainability will be just some of the topics covered.

In addition to institutions from across the country, APEXA also invites a panel of speakers who will share ideas, tools, a lot of social innovation, and inclusion.

The event will be attended by: Joe Santos (Vencer Autismo), Fernanda Freitas (Nuvem Vitória), Filipe Almeida (President of Portugal Inovação Social), Cláudia Pedra (Stone Soup Consulting), Ana Fontoura (Fidelidade Comunidade) and Cristiano Viegas (Marketing specialist for the 3rd Sector).

Veggie Café de Albufeira will sponsor the coffee break to promote the networking and for everyone to get to know each other, at 15:45 pm. The event, in the second part, has more activities until it closes around 18:00.

«The RECRIA 2022 summit is the first edition of a biennial event, which takes place to promote the sharing of good practices in the area of ​​social impact, the presentation of social innovation projects, and above all the networking between institutions and entities linked to the 3rd sector», says APEXA.
