Universidade do Algarve is present at the largest international education fair in Brazil

Algarve Academy will also participate in the first International Studies Conference in Portugal

The University of Algarve (UAlg) will be present at the largest international education fair in Brazil, Salão do Estudante 2022, which will take place from 12 to 23 March, in seven Brazilian cities.

At the same time, the Algarve academy will participate in the first International Conference on Studies in Portugal, which will take place on the 14th and 15th of March, at the Real Gabinete Português de Leitura, in Rio de Janeiro.

At the Student Hall, UAlg will be present in the cities of São Paulo (12 and 13 March) and Rio de Janeiro (Copa, on 15 March, and Barra, on 16 March).

This fair attracts more than 30 Brazilian high school students, equivalent to secondary education, who are looking for a quality higher education alternative in Portugal. UAlg shares the CRUP – Universities Portugal stand with other Portuguese universities.

In contact with future students and their families, UAlg will promote its training offer - professional higher technical courses, degrees, masters and doctorates -, in addition to addressing topics such as living costs, duration of courses and forms of access.

As for the International Conference on Studies in Portugal, in addition to the UAlg, the International Relations Office of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ), Fluminense Federal University (UFF), Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ) and Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), which together will discuss the challenges and achievements taking into account the bilateral protocols already established between Brazilian and Portuguese public institutions, for the mobility of international students.

With an entourage made up of several Portuguese polytechnic institutes and universities, the event is organized by the Start-up “Estude em Portugal”, a company formed by Brazilian students who live in Portugal and are dedicated to guiding Brazilian candidates who do not have European nationality and decide to immigrate to Portugal through studies, making use of the International Student Statute.

The event will take place in person and will be broadcast on the networks of “Estude em Portugal”, a channel that already has more than 2 million views and totals more than 141 thousand hours of content watched.
