The dream commands life in the second edition of the literary magazine «PALAVRAR»

Stories, chronicles and poems by some of the authors will be shared

The second edition of the literary magazine «PALAVRAR – Ler e writing é resist» will be presented on March 11, at 21:30 pm, via ZOOM, as part of the «Reading Week», promoted by the National Reading Plan 2027.

This new edition features a text by Olinda Beja, a writer from São Tomé and Príncipe, and a poem by João Melo, an Angolan writer, poet and journalist. For the Proust Questionnaire, the guest was the Azorean writer João de Melo.

«PALAVRAR» presents texts by still unknown authors, along with well-known voices in the Portuguese and Lusophony literary scene.
As a digital literary magazine, the presentation with reading aloud of some of the published texts is, according to those responsible for the magazine, Analita Alves dos Santos and Diana de Castro Almeida, «the materialization of the project, its “physical and voice”, which we intend to become a biannual national literary event to promote reading and writing».

In the presentation scheduled for March 11, short stories, chronicles and poems by some of the authors will be shared, including the reading of the participation of Júlia Domingues, writer and creator of the Facebook and Instagram page «Só que não», Marco Neves, professor , translator and author of several books for linguistic dissemination, and João Melo, whose poem “Os Sonhos Não São Velho” served as the theme for this edition.
