Loulé: Preventive arrest for man who was on parole for trafficking

In total, 2 doses of cocaine were seized.

A 54-year-old man, who was on parole after serving a sentence for drug trafficking, was arrested this Sunday, March 13, for the same crime, in the municipality of Loulé, and was held in preventive detention.

According to the GNR, the man was intercepted “in possession of more than half a kilo of cocaine”.

The Guard's soldiers complied with five search warrants, three at home and two in vehicles.

In total, 2 895 doses of cocaine were seized, 14 sachets of medicinal substance commonly used to adulterate the narcotic drug and to increase its volume, 14 bags to contain the drug, four mobile phones, two light vehicles, two transport bags, a precision scale and 330 euros in cash.

In the course of this action, a 58-year-old man was also accused of drug trafficking.
