The Sardinha Festival returns from the 3rd to the 7th of August, in Portimão, and the musical lineup includes names such as David Fonseca, João Leote with Marisa Liz, Bárbara Tinoco and Wet Bed Gang.
After two years in which the great event in Portimão had to be canceled due to Covid-19, the smells and flavors of grilled sardines will return to the riverside area of Portimão.
The official poster of the Sardine Festival was presented this Thursday, March 17, at the Lisbon Tourism Board (BTL), accompanied by the Sul Informação.
Everything will begin on the 2nd, the eve of the opening of the event, with a historical reenactment of the unloading of sardines.
This trip will feature a large popular sardine.
The Festival itself starts on the 3rd of August, with a performance by João Leote and Marisa Liz.
It is followed on the 4th by David Fonseca and, on the 5th, by Bárbara Tinoco.
For the last two days, concerts by Wet Bed Gang (6) and David Carreira (7) are planned.
In addition to musical performances, the Sardine Festival will also have stalls and restaurants.
