Feira do Folar returns to São Marcos da Serra

Organized by the Municipality of Silves, the event has the usual support of the local Parish Council, the Caixa de Crédito Agrícola Mútuo de São Bartolomeu de Messines and São Marcos da Serra and the Algarve Tourism Region.

The Feira do Folar is back, from the 15th to the 17th of April, in São Marcos da Serra (Silves).

The event will bring together several traditional producers, not only of folar, but also of sweets, liqueurs and medronho.

Organized by the Municipality of Silves, the event has the usual support of the local Parish Council, the Caixa de Crédito Agrícola Mútuo de São Bartolomeu de Messines and São Marcos da Serra and the Algarve Tourism Region.

The program includes concerts, religious celebrations, choirs, folkloric groups, dances, traditional games, the exhibition “Vamos ser Geoparque Algarvensis” (patent at the Lifelong Education Pole of São Marcos da Serra) and lots of street entertainment. .
