Feira da Serra is back, from the 28th to the 31st of July, in São Brás de Alportel, in a «long-desired return». The launch of the Innovation Award is one of the great novelties of the event, whose musical poster is not yet closed.
The biggest fair in São Brás de Alportel was officially presented this Thursday, March 17, at the Lisbon Tourism Exchange (BTL).
The event will feature 18 themed spaces, 40 hours of shows and more than 100 local producers and artisans.
The new Feira da Serra Innovation Award and the announcement of the Artistic Challenge “Hidroavião na minha Mão”, which is born due to the centenary of the 1st Crossing South Atlantic Area, are two of the novelties this year.
As usual, there will be a special guest in this edition: it is the medronho.
In statements to the Sul Informação, Vítor Guerreiro, mayor of São Brás de Alportel, considered that the return of Feira da Serra was «long wanted».
«It is an event with an economic impact, which projects the municipality, and, above all, which has the great affection of the people of São Paulo».
This year's edition «is already being prepared and will be a great event for four days, in which we will show the riches of our county and our region», he added.
As for the musical poster, it is not yet closed and will be presented shortly.
