The Immortal women's team guaranteed last Saturday, March 19, the promotion to the Portuguese Basketball League.
The team from Albufeira remains undefeated in the 1st Division National Championship and achieves a historic feat at the club and in the Algarve region by reaching the top level of women's national basketball.
Guided by coach Ricardo Xufre and under the direction of Paulo Amorim, since its creation, the team has the players Sofia Queiroz, Inês Jesus, Gabriela Batista, Soraia Carvalho, Márcia Carvalho, Telma Fernandes, Érica Baptista, Monique Pereira, Joana Ramos , Rosinha Rosário and Laura Garrido.
The technical team has Ana Ferreira (physiotherapist), Miguel Martins (physical trainer) and Rita Vieira (sectionist).
Some athletes from the club's training levels, such as Rafaela Castanheira, Sofia Amorim, Ana Amaro and Luena Lopes and others, are also part of the team's squad.
